Bibersteinia trehalosi (formerly Pasteurella trehalosi)

• Occasionally isolated in association with septicemia and pneumonia
• May be misidentified as Mannheimia haemolytica by standard bacteriological identification techniques
• Produces a leukotoxin that differs from that of M. haemolytica
• Not contained in any commercial bacterins
