Eric Baumgardner

Education: Eric received Bachelor of Science degrees in both Biochemistry and Biotechnology from Minnesota State University - Mankato.

Industry Experience: Prior to moving to Mankato for school, Eric worked for VMC Laboratories in tissue/cell culture, viral propagation, and batch and fill for one year. Before moving back to the Worthington area, Eric was employed for six years as a research scientist for Camas Inc., a producer of antibody feed additives, where he worked on the development of several unique products and ELISA assays.

Role at Newport: As a Research Scientist, Eric's main focus is creating and executing various projects for the research and development department, mainly involving product support, discovery research, and new product licensing.
