Jeff Swartzlander, Ph.D.
Education: Dr. Swartzlander is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, with a B.S. in Animal Science and both a M.S. and Ph.D. in Animal Nutrition.
Industry Experience: Dr. Swartzlander previously worked with Lallemand, Cargill, and Nova Microbial Technologies. He has extensive experience in the field of microbial-based nutrition in both dairy and feedlot production, and is very familiar with both the beef and dairy industries.
Role at Newport: Dr. Swartzlander joined Newport Laboratories in the spring of 2005 as a Field Account Representative. He represents Newport in the Southwest United States. He works with customers throughout the South, including Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas and Louisiana. Jeff has a strong sense of customer service and an appreciation of the importance of assisting customers in solving problems. He also understands the value of tailoring solutions to the needs of the customer, by assessing their problems and helping to provide the appropriate customized service and/or product.
