Education: Mike received his B.S. in Microbiology and Public Health, with Minors in Chemistry and Biology, from the University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh.
Industry Experience: Mike has over 30 years of experience in the animal biologics industry in research, Quality Control, Regulatory Affairs and Production. He worked for Oxford Laboratories, Upjohn, Bayer and Intervet prior to working for Newport Laboratories.
Role at Newport: Mike supervises the transfer of new technologies from Research to Newport's Production and Quality Control Departments, as well as providing product support for existing products and procedures. He is also involved in discovery research and new product licensing.
